One resource. Three useful messages.Page 1 of the Promotion Copy Template: write a useful resource-page message

Start with one resource and one reader.

Follow these three steps to write clear, useful copy for a resource you have already finished.

Choose

Name one reader and the task your resource actually helps them complete. Use the description and contents from your resource page.

Adapt

Replace every bracketed instruction with actual information. Choose one button and one destination.

Check

Confirm the contents, the access wording and the final links before anything goes live.

Use the templates on their own, with any editor. You do not need the Brief Builder or a paid tool.

Three parts. One consistent message.

Use the same reader, completed task and verified destination across all three messages.

  • Your useful resource
  • One download action

Keep the same reader and task you used on the resource page.

Send delivery to requesters. Follow-up marketing is a separate permission choice. The delivery email goes to people who asked for your resource. Any marketing follow-ups need their own, separate permission.

Two more completed examples Fictional

Taken from two of our sample campaign bundles. Both businesses are fictional; no client or result is real. The bundles do not include a social post, so only the page and delivery-email parts are filled in.

New Manager First-Week Plan (Clearline People Advisory, a fictional HR consultant)

IncludedA one-page plan with fill-in lines for the five things to agree with a new manager; guidance on completing it with the manager, in their own words; a worked example from a fictional print and design company; a clear line on what the plan does not cover (it is not legal or employment advice).

AccessEmail request. The plan opens on the next page and a copy is sent to the reader. Four follow-up emails only if a separate, unticked box is ticked.

Delivery email subject: Your New Manager First-Week Plan

Body: Here is the New Manager First-Week Plan you asked for. It is one page with five items: role expectations for the first month, decision rights, first-week meetings, support contacts and a first check-in date. The plan works best when you complete it with the new manager rather than for them. [The email goes on to say the plan is not legal or employment advice, and that it is the only email unless the follow-up box was ticked.]

  • Every promised page, template or example is included.
  • All bracketed instructions and sender details are replaced.
  • The access wording is accurate: direct download or email request.
